Osso originally opened during daytime only with a modern café style of menu serving food all day until 5pm. Since opening in the evenings from 6pm, with a more traditional ‘a la carte’ menu, Osso has attracted new customers from a wide area as well as strong recommendations from the Scotsman and Herald newspapers. The evening fixed price £15 for 2 courses and 3 for £20 menu has also proved popular with tourists and locals.

“Our first year has been exceptional”, says Chef / Proprietor Ally McGrath. ”The all day lunch and tapas menu is very popular and we have built up a regular clientele for our organic coffees and teas, and home-baking. I think customers appreciate that we use local produce and every meal is cooked to order."
