Osso opened its' doors in December 2007, its' aim - exciting food, big flavours, reasonable prices and happy customers. Ally McGrath had a long background of working in the best restaurants for some of the country's big hitters.
The aim remains the same, but we've come a long way since then, and the arrival of two Osso babies has brought a more relaxed feel to the kitchen. Ally and Helen bought out their business partners in March 2014, making it truly a family affair.
We love our staff - they are what makes us special. Ally is joined in the kitchen by Craig Turner, a talented young chef who originally the Osso team as Sous Chef and has recently been promoted to the Head Chef position. Craig previously worked at La Valle Blanche in Glasgow’s West End before spending time at Cafe Tartine in Leith.
